Puzzles immersed with game mechanics
In Snow Down, the main mechanics is that you can dash to certain colored stump after hitting that stump with that colored snowball and you can change your color by traveling through the colored arches. These mechanics create great potentials for spacial puzzles: for the arch in the air, you have to go to the high ground, using that specific colored snowball to dash and receive that arch's color.
The beauty of do nothing
While the puzzles and quests are presented, the game itself is just a depiction of a very cozy winter day. The goal for this game is for the player to immerse in this snow wonder world and relax. That being said, nothing really matters at the end, just like the snowfarmer who ask you to shepherd the horses back to the barn said, "Eh, the horses are running away again! Whatever, thank you for helping anyway. Enjoy this snow day!"
